Surreal moment

Got in the car on my way home from Carshalton, switched on the radio and found myself listening to Arsene Wenger talking about a referee who reversed a penalty decision after talking to his assistant. Why is the Arsenal manager talking about the Carshalton v Hornchurch match I thought. But no, it happened at Fulham v Arsenal as well !

 

I mean it doesn't happen in a million years and then twice in one afternoon.

Can't see why the ref is copping so much stick over it. Shows good refereeing to speak to your lino about a decision. I think both ref's should be applauded for having the balls to change their decision after consulting with their linos.

Here here Lord, it makes a refreshing change to see Refs stand up and admit they made a mistake. Long may it continue.

I've seen worse Mags, seems that the standard of refereeing this season has been very poor, not just at Hornchurch, but throughout our league.

What ground were you at? The only good decision was the penalty inncident! He was poor!! Nope don't think so..

I didn't think the ref had too bad a game myself. As Lord pointed out we have seen alot worse before and no doubt even worse in the future.
