[color:"blue"]Don't quite agree about Baptiste, he's not really an out & out goalscorer - he does have that lethargic look about him, but he still set up a few good chances for Che. Che is out of sorts, the goal last week was not enough to snap him into the goal machine he can be though have never seen in a blue shirt. I couldn't understand why Chris didn't bring on Moses and Aaron and given them 15-20 minutes to break the defence (ie when they were arguing amongst themselves).

Agree with the subs Peter. Was by the dugout screaming, well shouting anyway for earlier subs but for some reason Chris does as he feels fit though yesterday needed someone like Moses on there with a little bit of dash and someone like the big guy Aaron to get some beef in and about the defenders.I.M.O.

I think we should just step back a bit and consider Rocky for a minute.

Since he came into the side last season he has played with that relaxed, louche sort of insolence, it is just the style he plays with, it is not that he is not trying. He plays intelligently, watch him as he links with Clarkey, another player that uses his brains. He is economical with his movement, doesn't dash around like a loony or go for balls that are not winnable. Is this a fault? He nearly always beats any opponent he is set against, often two or three are upon him and he beats them all, but the problem he has is support and options. He is also a generous player, not always going for glory himself, but setting the other players up to do well. I am still firmly of the belief that it is back up from a strong midfield presence, or lack of support from inexperienced colleagues that is at fault here, not Rocky himself. Several times during the last few games I have seen him back track all the way to our goal line and defend, this is not the best use we can put him to, but his efforts in defence have gone unnoticed on this forum, methinks. He is also consistently strong and fit, and works hard for the entire 90 minutes.

We are lucky to have him, he is worthy of a higher league than he is playing in, and I salute him for staying with us. There must be few teams in this league who have a striker of such pedigree and experience.

I want to see him on the pitch every match, and every match I have seen he does something that is so good it takes my breath away. I do not think we appreciate him enough and I just wish everyone would be grateful for what we have got.

He wasnt going for balls even when they COULD have been winners. You have to get to the ball first else you will never succeed in WINNING the ball. As for taking your breath away then all I can say is that you must easily be pleased. Am talking only about yesterday as thats the game in question and am sorry to disagree that yesterday he was nowhere like he both could be or has been. No, yesterday he didnt want to know and whether he felt that way or not thats how it looked to me. Am a strong admirer of his, dont get me wrong but that was not the Rocky I know. There has to be fight, a fight for the ball, not waiting for it,not getting it then giving up. Absolutely a couldnt care-less attitude yesterday I'm sorry to say. Of course I re-iterate this is only my opinion.

Rocky and Adrian Clarke are the club's two most thoughtful, skilful and experienced players. The success of the club will, to a large extent, depend upon their performances over the season. Neither of them can be expected to turn in matchwinning performances every week especially with inexperienced players who have not developed their sense of support play and tactical awareness.

Rocky did not have his best game on Saturday but so far this season he has shown his wholehearted commitment to the club and the team effort sometimes to the detriment of his own individual performance. Those Margate fans who have watched the majority of this season's games will have observed his total commitment.

We do not want to lose any experienced players.

Rocky and Che need more support. Let us hope that the inexperienced players can learn very quickly or that CK can bring in at least two experienced players. Then the goals will come.

I for one RICHARD dont feel my particular posts are like you say "getting on his back". Its an observation thats all and through this forum am giving my thoughts and opinions so that discussion may come about. This has been the case.DISCUSSION has come about. Some may agree, some may not. If I had seen every game so far I would have made further observations and done the same thing should others have played below their ability. I also praise the work of others. Is that "getting on someones back". Its open for discussion, thats all. Chill out.

Like you say its part and parcel of being in the limelight as a footballer."Guess thats football".
