Keister was sent off for two yellows right before FT. had two goals by the manche dissallowed and the ref was the 'worst ever'. Brother has informed me

I have just returned from the match, and refuse to comment on the ref, as the forum would just blank out the only words that describe him, he even missed che stadhart having his head pulled back. 'Gate ruled the game, but failed to score, CK needs to find a new striker(s) as Rocky isn't even getting a shot on goal, and his FREE header, at the back post from about o, 2 yards, went straight into the floor and over the goal.

Keister was bloody stupid. Two yellow cards for dissent, CK must be fuming. Another good performance with nothing to show for it. Plenty of chances but none converted. referee was poor along with linesman. Offside decisions were very poor. One point Che went through one on one and wasn't even in an offside position when the lino put his flag up. As for Weymouth, went ahead with an own goal and never looked like being in it after that. They certainly did not look like promotion contenders. Claridge was poor I thought.

i today saw a ref who would struggle to manage a pub team........

gate dominated the game start to end, and in reality scored 2 clean goals what the ref dissallowed to my amazment. he gave nothing to the gate and was the most biasd ref i have ever seen. so many bad desisions i dont even know where to start.

 

tho i can tell u that Weymouth are no promotion contenders there the worse team i have see so far this season.

 

on a plus note hussain was outstanding today made some commanding saves.

he saved the 1 on 1 and anon pushed it in <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

we really need to replace number 8 cant stand him, other than that we are looking good.

team performance was overall ok, but if i was margate i would file a offical complaint about the ref standards they are costing us dear.

That was probably the most dismal referee-ing display I have ever seen, the man was a complete disgrace to the black shirt he wore. He totally disrupted the run of the game, looked the other way when the Weymouth defence were fighting amongst themselves, looked the other way when anything was happening to be honest, and then guessed that Weymouth should be given the benefit of the doubt. One of them actually had Che in a head lock with his arms around his neck at one point, how he could have missed that I will never know. The Weymouth defence were pitiful, every time we came at them they panicked and shouted and pushed at each other, what a shambles. They look worse than a pub team.

Benvenides was in the wrong position, not his fault, I think Alex would have been the better choice. Nej was brilliant, Clarkey played everyone off the pitch, and came really close three times. Rocky was a bit off his game, even so he had the beating of the defence many times, Greg was terrific, JK may have had a red mist episode, but why send him off with less than a minute to go? The two goals were both perfectly fine, Che worked as hard as usual and impressed again today. Beckwith played extremely well, Aaron nearly came in with a beautifully placed header, why was he substituted so late?

I agree with everything Legend says, bar the number 8 thing because if that was Pat Gradely I thought he played well.

I wish I could place a few profanities here too. Why oh why are we having such trouble finishing poor teams like this off?

The only bright moment was seeing Mark Green there on his crutches in support of his team and being able to wish him a speedy recovery.

I am not going to blame the team at all, they are playing really good football, and whatever happens I hope they do not descend to the level of downright cheating and shirt pulling and grabbing and falling down that seems to pass for sportsmanship in this league.

Pour myself a large one, I think, and look to Lewes.

One of them is just about adquate.

 

The other is completely useless and does his best to run around and avoid going anywhere near the ball.

 

Please CK get another midfield player who is at least conf. south standard

No. 8 must have been Gradley, as Peter B. was playing in the number 3 shirt, and didn't look too bad, even though he was on the wrong side of the field, in the wrong position, he would be a usefull "utility" to fill in the positions when players are injured, as he played well in the right back last week as well, and looked good in midfield in the friendlies.

agreed Pat Gradely played ok today but i was making a general summery over his last few games, and wasnt baseing that comment on todays performance alone.

 

btw did that old guy(clarege) even get a touch. i saw his zimmer frame at the sideline... as his carer wheeld him of for his half time supper.

anyhow its amazing how much a ref can dictate the game, somthing needs to be done about it.

Did notsee him today, but everytime i have seen Benevides he has been diabolical.

 

Maybe he has a role to play at wing back though.

The general theme running through reports for all conf. south matches-not just margate-is how poor the refs. are .

 

Seems a major gulf between conference refs. and conf south standard.
