We have just received confirmation that Dean Beckwith will be joining us on loan from Gillingham FC. Some of you may recognise Dean as he was on loan at Dagenham and Redbridge when we played them last Season. He made five appearances and scored one goal for them away to Hereford. Centre back Dean, who turns twenty-one next Saturday, is six foot three. Please make sure you give him a warm welcome when he turns out for us tomorrow against Weymouth.

Greg Oates, who had pull out of the team against Hayes at the last minute, is still looking doubtful for this weekend.

Good news for Mark Green, he was finally allowed out of hospital on Wednesday. Instead of relaxing at home, Mark headed straight for the training ground to see his teammates and Manager. The news is that Mark is very upbeat about his injury and looking to work as hard as possible on his rehabilitation. (Perhaps we should put a photo of his leg in the next programme so that everyone can kiss it a la David Beckham!)

Scott Ward, who was on a non-contract has now left the Club, we wish him all the best for the future.

[color:"blue"] Beckwith looks to be good cover for Mark Green - 21 years old / 6ft 3in / 13st 3lb. we do need a bit more height & weight at the back Actually scored twice on loan for D&R (one was an own goal though).
