Not even on the bench again, is he still suspended?

 

Has getting a sending off cost him an opportunity to gain a regular 1st team place?

 

Are players starting to realise the size of our squad means you go out on an injury, silly suspension or have a couple of bad games and you may spend sometime in the wilderness?

 

Is this reflected in Ollie's recent poor performances being turned into a top show against Thurrock?

He`s still injured as far as i know, he only had a one match ban.

look at the effort chenners is putting in.. he knows he cant afford to get dropped ..

Once fit I'm sure Keeling will get another chance and, from what I've seen, he will stake a claim and hold onto a starting place.

 

It certainly raises the game having the likes of Keeling and in certain games played Ollie and Duffers running at the opposition and taking them on.

 

It's good having competition for places but at this level I wonder how many players will be happy sitting in the wings - waiting.

 

Quinton returning to Sutton on loan - I remember reading on the Sutton forum that the fans felt it was a bad move for him. They felt he should have stayed at Sutton, obtained regular first team action rather than sitting on a bench at Canvey where the chance of him getting first team action were going to be potentially rather limited.

 

I wonder how many players will start to get fed up waiting for a chance over the season?

you need "cover", but you can't play everyone all the time.
