i am afraid Mr Bowden Smith is either very naive or badly advised(similar to MFC a year ago)

 

Councils like and need ticks in boxes.

 

This is what all companies have to go through (and alot more) to obtain planning resolutions.

 

Instead of whinging you get on with it(albeit you need to ensure funds are in place for the professional fees

If only Maidstone had an art centre built into their stadium it would sail through planning like in Margate.

 

Seems the Turner Centre was one local residents idea although nobody involved in the project knows the persons name.

Maidstone council and BOWDENS summing up of them is so much like this council and its dealings.Its all too similar in many ways.Dont knock BOWDENS attitude cos he has balls and can see through his council.
