lost his touch

As mentioned 3 in 6 games says it all.

However, he isn't going to get the space and time that he had in the Ryman.

Conference sides who have done their homework will be very aware of him and his strengths and weaknesses.

He looked pretty sharp on the ball at Scarborough - first touch, awareness etc - although he had no clear chances.

More worried about the service he is getting at the moment. 3 in 6 games he is certainly taking the chances when the service is provided.

How the HELL can you say he's lost his touch?!

If you're loyal, I'm presuming you went last season. We were in a lower division, with a lower standard of football, we were winning most of our games, and we were way ahead at the top of the table.

We now get promoted, let's say for example... West Ham get promoted, would you really expect the best striker to be ABOVE the top 4 scorers in the Premiership?

In all honesty mate, I think what you've said is total b*llocks. This leagues gonna take some getting used to, he's not going to score a hattrick every game, the standard of football is so much higher.

He's still an amazing player, and if there's anyone I haven't seen lose their touch this season, it's probably him.

One thing that I think is letting him down is Greggors participation. Greggors is seriously strugging in this league, and I feel it's time to give him a break from it. Ollie proved the other night that he is more than capable of being in the first team, maybe not playing upfront, but we could use the spare space for a defender or something.

Just my opinion...

Final thought: Lee's our best player, he's doing bloody well considering, now shut up!

Agree CIFC-YA - thats partly what I was refering to in my previous post with regard "service".

Greggors does seem to be struggling a little - IMHO

Duffers performances also concern me at this level - although I felt he played well at Exeter - again IMHO.

I suppose at this level its consistency - players need to be able to put in the performance throughout the majority of the season against various teams who one week could be playing football to feet and the following week being kicked up in the air by a 6'4 gorilla.

Hi CIFC-YA, bit new to all this technology!

Been reading the posts for the past few years - just never added to them. Woke up this morning and thought I'd have a go.....the rest as they say is history.

Whats the advantage in signing up? Sorry probably a naieve sort of question.

I'm sure Cornelius Vermuyden will be very pleased that one of its little soldiers left with the ability to read and write

"Decent opinion" - that may become questionable in the due course of time when I post!

Anyway - it's been interesting reading the posts of the regulars.

Well you've both sold the benefits to me. Where do I sign?

Just need to think up an alias.

Probably needs to include the words Yellow, Canvey or Gull..........

Oh well - Secret Squirrels out of the question then.

if you have seen all the games this season, you would of seen us not getting outplayed in any of them. we have had a hard start & to only lose one of them games is an achievment in its self

After everything lee boylan has been through with his illness which he still has to take tablets for, lee boylan is working miracles. As CIFC YA has said, forth in the table. He must be doing somthing right
