barkingside 2-1 concord .........

went over to watch it last night and i must say it was a good game with concord taking the lead mid way through the first half. barkingside came out stronger and with two goals in the second half and looked well worthy of their win.

 

concord however with a lot of ex basildon players looked plain with nothing much to offer.

 

the two times i've been to watch barkingside this year i've been impressed with team and will be up their come the end of season!

I thought Concord could, and should, have gone three goals up in the first half. Barkingside's fitness showed in the second half and you always felt that those late goals were going to come. They probably deserved to shade it overall.

to be honest i only got their just before they scored so maybe i missed the earlier chances.

They looked really good when the Town played them as well, we did very well to get a draw. It's already looking a much better league this season.
