Well done to The Supporters Club!

Now here's a funny thing.

I have a hotmail E-mail address thingy and there is a chap who works for the man what owns the internet who reads all of my E-mails before transmitting them to me. There is a feature called "Junk" and he sends the unwanted stuff straight there.

The Supporters Club have done a mass E-mail advertising the Huge Quiz Night on Friday week, September 17th and I'm on their VIP list. Thanks for that. The man who sorts the E-mails sent mine straight to my junk folder.

What's more, I received two E-mails from Laz yesterday and he sent them to the same place.

Does anyone think that E-mail will ever take-off as a communication device?

Hi Zealster.

You know that I never pass on rumours, but I heard that the first delivery of shirts arrived with 'Philips' spelt with two 'L's so they went back. I heard that a second delivery arrived with the 'S' of Philips in a different font than the rest of the word so they went back, too.

Mistakes that anyone could make, obviously.

None of any of that is the fault of the Supporters Club, of course.

Oh, by the way. I noticed the full page advert in the matchday programme for The Bryco Cup. Does anyone know when the draw is to be made and the round that we come into the thing takes place?

Didn't GHA post a pic of them on here a few weeks back?

Not bothered particularly whether they're nice or not. After all, I bought that ghastly sky blue and red one in 1999, as well as several other monstrosities.

I've had the cash to one side for well over a month now, and just want to buy one.

Put it this way - if I still have that £40 in my pocket at 3pm on Sunday afternoon, it'll be going to the THFC Club Shop, and not the SACFC one.

Indeed - and would look great on a trim lad like myself! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

But no, it's a retro 1970s Spurs Shirt I have my eye on. A slightly more forgiving shape!

This SACFC replica shirt business has really pissed me off. When will this club ever get its act together??

Fingers in many pies, GHA. Fingers in many pies.

You can bet that he wont have told Claire about the "glamour" modelling agency that he has as sideline to the multi million dollar web-site. He has a sweat shop in Taiwan where 7 year old youngsters are stitching "Filips" on to the front of the new shirts by candlelight as we speak. ['Speak' in a manner of speaking, of course.]

Lap-dog.

I hear the shirts should be delivered pretty soon (depend on UPS or Parceline or whatever)

Have a word with the bloke who used to drive the red tractor

Webbo, we were told almost two months ago that "the shirts should be delivered pretty soon".

Let's wait and see.

Oh, and I've done a quick survey, and most of the lads say they'd rather Vicky Baxter model the shirts than Claire!!

(Indeed, most of them said they'd rather Jo Brand model them than Claire, but hey!)

Reminds me of a joke actually!

Saturday lunchtime, and a staunch Spurs fans is gearing up to go to the game that afternoon.

His wife comes into the room and asks if he'll join her in going shopping.

"But darling, I'm going to the Spurs match this afternoon," he reminds her.

"So you'd rather go and support Spurs than come shopping with me would you?" she asks.

"I'd rather go and support Arsenal than go shopping with you!" he replies.

Well, I found it funny.
