Slough outplayed by a competant Bognor team,and only some good saves by Mautone kept us in the game.<p>Final result was 0-1, which did not indicate Bognors control of the match, --at times Slough had difficulty getting into the Bognor half. We didn't play that badly, we were just outplayed and beaten by a team that knew what they were doing. Once again our attacking options were very limited.<p>Lets hope that Browne and Deaner both go in the close season, as there was little to build on in this display.

Mautone made a couple of textbook saves which he made look better than what they were (Trust me I know!), but performed well.<p>Roach had no support upfront and battled in vain to do everything himself. <p>Sammy had an encouraging performance, but lacked the final pass after beating their full back time and time again.<p>The rest, well, you could tell it was an end of season fixture. Haynes, not a full back. Gilkes, not a full back. (Not quite sure he's even a footballer at times) Hakki had an off day and lacked support in midfield from Barras at times, but never really got into the game like he can.

Ted, I include that in my showboating list. A fine save it was indeed, but made more by the angles of the shot rather than the save itself. <p>I'd have felt comfortable saving that one.....
