Mark Green

Margate Football Club

Recommended Posts

Mark Green has broken his left leg following an innocuous tackle at the match versus Hayes on Saturday. Mark was taken directly from the game to the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford where it was discovered he had broken his tibia. Mark has undergone surgery to plate and pin the bone back together and is currently still in the hospital. It is expected that his leg will be put in a full cast with vents later today and that he will be allowed to return home this afternoon.

If there is a positive to be found in this situation, it is that Mark has not suffered any tendon or ligament damage and as the brake was clean, it will heal faster and be as strong as ever.

I am sure that everyone joins us in wishing Mark all the best for a swift recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the pitch in his Margate shirt as soon as possible.

Up the Gate!

Thank you for the information about Green he has been one of the real postives of this season and to see him go down like he did on saturday then go off on the stretcher made my stomache turn i think we all new it was quite serious at that point.

Let's hope for a speedy recovery for Green so he can get back in the gate team were im sure we will surley miss his pace & presence down the left.

[color:"blue"] It was cruel luck for Mark to be struck with this nasty injury - as has already been stated he has been to find of the season for the 'Gate.

I'd like to send him best wishes, especially as I believe he still has to find his best form ... he really is a bright prospect.

BEST WISHES FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY MARK

Finally managed to log in as myself, after about a months of trying. Green looked like a quality player, all the best in recovery, by the time he's back in action ManChe should have been called up to play for england, in goal
