WHAT A POOR ADVERT FOR THE ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE TWO REALLY POOR TEAMS ,SAW ENFIELD TOWN MANAGER IN THE STANDS DONT THINK HE WILL LOSE ANY SLEEP WORRYING ABOUT THE ABBEY BOTH TEAMS ARE PRETTY ORDINARY AND ABBEY FINISH FOURTH IF THEY ARE LUCKY.

You can only beat what is put in front of you and at the moment WE ARE DOING EXACTLY that.

First of all well done to the Abbey.......

Another win......5 out of 5...superb....and I'm sure it'll be 6 out of 6 after tomorrow....

you can only beat whats puyt in front of you.....well done lads....

Re the prat who keeps slagging off ETFC...hope you was there yesterday expecting the Town to get beat..instead they won 2-1......a fantastic result....now shut up muppet....

Although personally we didn't play that well we did a job!!

 

i can only recall them having 3 clear cut chances the whole game!!! to be fair we gifted 2 of them!! first one was a free kick on the edge of the box and the guy couldn't even hit the target!! the second one was when Pinn went through his charity syndrome, where basically Pinn passes the ball to the striker and goes "i bet you can't score" and with the keeper to beat the striker puts it over the bar!! the third one was when there midfielder had a hit and hope shot from 35 yards that hit the bar!!

 

As for JC saying we are only a top 4 side and nothing to worry about, hey people have there opinions!!!

 

 

 

 

 

Stat time!!!

 

We average 3 goals a game, and concede just 1 per game!!

Great Wakering Rovers went 33 games without defeat from Nov 25th 1995 when Sawbo beat them to 25th February 1997 when beaten by Stansted at home ( Gary Hart of Brighton FC doing the damage)and the Manager both times was ... Donny Watters ! I understand that Basildon United went 34 games without defeat back in the 70's. The other "record" is held by Basildon United, who, in 1997-98 went 15 straight wins at the start of the season, beating Canvey's 14 in 1992-93. Info supplied by a little book that the LC issues every year and some of us keep !
