From what i read it is at his stage just a loan.

 

Good thing imo as Ward may yet make the grade.

 

The central defence opening up and hollow midfield in front of him was the real problem-fans should not be so hard on him imo

Agreed, and I think we should all be very supportive of Nej tomorrow if he does take the goal keeper position.

 

Considering that a proven goalie of Ollie's standing did not keep a clean sheet either, under the circumstances the heckling that Ward received was very harsh.

My prediction tomorrow is a 2-2 draw, which is not a very good result for a 'home' match against Hayes

I dont believe we have a keeper crisis, as Naj's first showing in goal, this was very promising, he even made up for his droped cross catch, I would just find an understudy for him, and see how he does in future games, looked promising, even made a few good cross catches, even the goal he did let in was through Annon's legs. Keeper problem solved. (Don't quote me on that if he does a Scott Ward)

I see that the NLP quote that Ward made 'several outstanding saves' for Lewes yesterday.

 

As said before, the previous failings were not his, but defence and midfield errors or capitulation

tho i admit our defence was bad it dont count for the fact he watched 3 goals pass him which even my nan could have saved.

(1 rolld past him and if he even stuck a leg 2 inches out it would have stopd it, he was stood hands on hips watching it)

tho i admit i could do no better he isnt up to the standard required.. tho i think husain has a possible future.
