back on the beer

after an extended spell of sobriety and even some exercise i got back on the sauce last night.. beer then champagne then vodka red bulls through various boozers n bars.. cab dropped me home at 1.30 am .. feeling remarkably good despite having to get up at 5.35 am..

recall something vague about the cabbie being a muslim and me telling him that god is a real as father christmas .. he seemed somewhat shocked and could not comprehend the notion that there was no god.. he was insistant that god made everything .. i told him that those nice krauts made the merc we were sitting in.. i think he then went into one about god making the sand that the glass was made from and the oil the plastic came from.. but i had lost intrest by then.. i was more concerned that father christmas might not be real!

A pint yesterday lunchtime, and a glass of red wine Wednesday lunchtime, but apart from that, nothing since Monday night.

 

I've got this well and truly licked.

 

Out with Mr and Mrs Brew tonight, but I've a feeling that Mr Brew may well be driving, so could be another sober night for me!!

 

Like Henman, I'm getting in my excuses early, Brew - seems I've run out of contact lenses, and when it comes to playing in glasses, I ain't no Dennis Taylor!!
