Southport and the Hat both said get there early to help and then turned up at the last minutes themselves!

I was never going to get to church, lunch and then to the game on time, so we skipped lunch and brought Mrs Southport to the game.

I, on behalf of the club, asked people to get to the ground early to assist where necessary because a game had been played on the pitch the day before.

 

I had informed Dave F that I would not be there until 3.00pm because of a family baptism. I also knew that some other supporters who regularly act as stewards may not be at the game because they had other committments. Therefore, a request was put out for people to assist.

 

It's called forward planning.

 

Have I got to be there all the time?

 

If you feel that you have been let down because I was not there at the same time as you, then please speak to me in person. Mind you, I will probably ask you where you have been on the Sunday mornings when the working parties have been getting the ground in order?
