Just get to the ground early and savour the flavour! By purchasing your match day ticket early, you will help Jim and Paul on the gate because there will be an almighty rush to get in the ground just before KO.

 

Parking will be on the Downs as usual but you can park in the surrounding streets provided common sense prevails and no one gets blocked in. As with most community football clubs we want to work with those who live around the ground so your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

 

The young ladies will be in muggers alley so you can pay a £1.00 for a 'golden goal' ticket and Dave and Fran will be in the Supporters' Club shop waiting for you to purchase the latest ETFC lines. Once again, beat the rush and buy your Christmas gifts from Dave or place an order! Christmas already! Here's looking forward to next summer. Doesn't time fly when we are enjoying ourselves!

 

Enjoy the experience tomorrow and 'up the Town'.

Frank and Roy will be at the ground from about 1.30pm. Dave F, Gilli, Jess and the stewards will probably get there at around 12.00pm.

 

There will be things to do because there is a Brimmo game on the pitch today. All help will be greatly appreciated.

 

A Honved supporter? Must tell my Hungarian dad! He remembers watching them in the 1940s.

Unfortunately, The Mighty Frocester are playing at the County Ground Bristol in a cup final against Frenchay - so i will be there. Father Jack will be keeping me in constant touch however. I will be very surprised if ETFC don't set a new attendence record! Estimates anyone...

I do not want to spread a rumour, because I don't tend to believe them anyway, but I have been told that the Austria v England game was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon but when they found out that the biggest FA Cup game in North London was being staged at the Brimmo, then they switched their fixture to tonight!

 

Whether this is true I do not know. Can anyone confirm this? Any comments from anyone?
