Last Saturday I was told by a windsor supporter that this money had not been paid, and had to be paid that day. There have been several references to us owing the money on this forum from windsor supporters, and one comment that it is not due yet from one of ours.

 

Is this a selp perpetuating rumour? or have we paid the money for this season. Best to knock it on the head now.

I really wouldn't take any notice of what the Windsor fan, or his three friends (including the dog) have to say on the matter. If it hasn't been paid I'm sure Mr Simpson would be talking to Roy or somebody appropriate, not a random little windsor fan

Oooops brain dead. it was Monday - windsor away at folkstone. The story was it had to be paid at a dinner meeting between Mr S & Mr D on monday night. This keeps cropping up on our forum. My source is not random and certainly not little.

It only keeps cropping up because of Windsor's fan trying to wind us up. I really wouldn't worry too much about this.

BFR, I think there's always going to be worry whilst there's still doubts in peoples' minds. After all, all banter aside, if it isn't paid, we're in trouble. Can anyone confirm what the position is for sure regarding the ground-share payments, or is it something people are not willing to post on a public forum?

I can't tell you anything about the payments because I don't know anything about the payments. It is something for Deaner and Simpson to sort out if it hasn't been sorted already. If I knew more I'd say.

W&E supporters have been asked by the W&E board not to post anything about this snymore as they don't want to cause any upset or make the problem any bigger than it already is.

 

If there is any doubt or confusion I suggest you contact Mr Simpson and ask him.
