The Council, Consortium and New Owners

I have heard strong rumours that they club have been offered quite a few sites to build a ground on.
If that is true, then if the local press or Radio got the person from the Council who deals with the new STFC stadium to actually say 'Yes there is a site available' then that MAY raise interest from potential consortiums who are looking to own a football club.
Whatdya think?

I have heard similar rumours from 2 good sources, but both said Deaner has no money to complete the deal, and that was why nothing was happening. The expectation was that Deaner would withdraw from Slough Town over the summer, and blame the council.

Even if there is a new site, as long as Deaner is in charge, where is the money coming from for the site?
Where is the money coming from for the playing staff? He's already proved unreliable on this front, how will the extra maintenance costs of a new ground help this?
It doesn't matter what happens while Deaner is in charge, nothing changes.
I'll stand by what I said earlier. If he's still there in August for the 2002/3 season, I won't be.
