Youngster (?) Jake Attwood is off on Sunday to train with Leeds United for a week.

Not a trial as such, I am lead to believe, but hey who knows .....

The systematic disintegration of last season's reserves was an absolute disgrace. Perhaps their success was too much of an embarrassment for Steve Castle and others at the Club.

 

This Capital League is a joke. The reserves need regular football, week in week out, not one game a month.

Just to set things straight, young Mr Attwood is not leaving St Albans City to join Leeds United, he is only attending training until Thursday next week with a view that anything he learns will help him push for a regular first team place when he returns.

 

Also I know he is considering taking coaching qualifications later this year so again this will be a good chance to observe and learn.

 

Something to celebrate early on Saturday I would suggest ......any takers ?

Not expected. This arrangement is nothing to do with the club but I can tell you he is being picked up by an employee of LUFC on Sunday so no costs there. Accomodation is provide so again no cost. How he is to get back is yet to be decided .... any one passing Leeds at the end of next week ?
