Three wins at home - Three clean sheets

The winning at home is not unusual. As Gary posted somewhere else, since we lost to Windsor on 27th December we've won all but three of our league matches at home, drawing the one we did not win. But three clean sheets in a row is a bit of a novelty - are there any stattos out there who knows the last time we kept three clean sheets in a row at home?

I've been very impressed with Winkie Whincup - I hope we can sort something out to keep him for longer than three months

As I said on Monday he is definately the best 18 year old keeper we have ever had. I really hope we can sort something out with the Urchins in order to keep him for the season though. For such a young un I am really impressed by how confident he is and his shot stopping has been superb.

Pre-Eddie I can't remember three consecutive home wins let alone clean sheets. I think we will be put to a sterner test this Saturday and am really looking forward to the game.

It definitely has a lot to do with Whincup - but the defence this season (so far) has not been making silly mistakes like we saw last season which led to goals conceded against much weaker opposition. On the flip side, we're not scoring as many goals which isn't a problem is the defence is doing well - but I think we'll be caught out sooner or later for not scoring a second or third killer goal when we're on top.
