i think most would agree we need to stregthen in midfield and defence.

 

I see a fit Lee Shearer is currently not making the gravesend bench.

 

We never did find out why we lost him in the first place,and why CK would not play him; but quality player imo and would give much needed height.

 

Not being mischievous but would CK consider having him back.

[color:"blue"]Perhaps it's time to equalise the trade-in of players with G&N and try to get some of their players into a blue shirt - even if it's on loan. Shearer is definitely out of favour there & listening to Radio Kent on Monday, Andy Ford admitted it was unlikely that Jimmy Jackson would make the team when he's back from injury. There's the defence & midfield sorted until we can sign someone on a permanent basis.

Porter limped off on Saturday, expect Shearer to play next week. I do not expect any of our squad to leave. With a decent cup run, we can expect to play 50 odd senior games. We will need a squad of 18/19 to continue our successful season (so far).

As for Jacko, forget it, he is a lifelong fan of the Reds. Even last year when injured, he chose to watch us rather than his own team (D&R).
