Couldn’t agree more.

The Khan family are making a big show out of being British simply for financial gain. If Khan had represented Pakistan in the Olympics and won the silver meddle would he have been as well known in this country as he is now? I very much doubt it. He’s a marketable asset at the moment not to mention a political football.

There’s a big difference between amateur boxing and professional boxing, and although many boxers have made the transition, many others haven’t. Whilst I think Khan is clearly a good amateur boxer I don’t believe he has what it takers to cut it in the professional world. Rest assured though, If can ever does gain any recognition in the professional game; he will drop his patriotism for Britain immediately.

He’s Pakistani and he knows it, nut since he can make a few quid being a pseudo-Brit then that’s what he’ll pretend to be.

What does 'DA' mean? I hate text speak, if it's supposed to mean 'The' then why does it? It's not an abbreviation whatsoever so I can’t understand why it gets used. I'll go and play football for Scotland (they're take anyone), but underneath the Scottish Shirt I'll wear the strip for England.

 

Who does he represent ? England because it suits his funding and training to reach the Olympics ? Or Pakistan because he refuses to accept the fact that he was born in England or feels excluded ?

 

Will we find out when he turns pro ?

Problem is that he's clearly making a big issue of these whole 'British' boxer thing. He wouldn't make half as much money if he were boxing for Pakistan so only represents Britian for his own financial gain. He may have been born here but he's a PAKIstani thru and thru - hence that silly gumshield

And remember - just cos a dogs born in a stable dosen't make it a horse! Passport British that's all!
