Thought you guys were OK yesterday, had a lot of posession in the second half especially but never translated it into meaningful chances. I only remember one in the first half from Boylan (?) and Gregory at the end of the second half.

 

Pretty decent attendance, any idea on the away count?

To be honest I thought the atmosphere from our lot wasn't that great, I even lost the will to drum in the second half. I was aware of the noise from the group in the corner, should have really joined them.

The group in the corner near the seating were certainly loud!! For the entire second half they were singing which was great.

 

According to our local paper there were about 500 Barnet fans there which is pretty impressive.

The last couple of canvey games our fans have been a bit quiet we should be behind our team not booing them.

Agreed, it amazes me that people boo the team. Canvey have been given us a lot ot be proud of over the last 10 years, we have now finally reached our summitt and we are going to come up against some tough teams who will beat us.

We have to be realistic this season and just hope we can finish out of the relegation zone. We only have to look at the example of Gravesend. They only just stayed up in their first season but look at them now. Who's to say they wont go up this season!

If people want to moan they should go to Southend or if they cant affors that go to Billercay.

To right. we have had one of the hardest starts we could of asked for & to get 6points out of the first 5 games is more than acceptable. it really does annoy me when i hear people slagging the players off & when you look at the person/s saying it, you dont even reconise who they are coz they are new.

Im all well for new people turning up but aslong as they understand we are not in the ryman anymore & are not gonna win every week.

We weren't just loud and proud in the ground. Train stations, side streets, main roads and tube stations were all affected by over excited Bees fans! (what? we haven't been top for almost 5 years!!!)

Good luck to you guys this season, although he was quiet against us, Boylan seems to know where the goal is so give him a few chances and you should stay up comfortably.
