Yesterdays Game

Thought yesterday was a great performance and in truth could have won by a lot more really.

 

For me Lee Elam should be one of the first names on the team sheet. He gives us natural balance and even if he wasn't producing his usual dazzling skills he was working very hard and doing a great job.

 

Also a mention for Damon Searle. A lot of players heads would have gone down after missing a penalty but he just looked more focused and kept Weymouth at bay in the closing stages.

 

One more thing. Didn't like the band to be honest. The Jazz band is much more to my liking!

Thought we played really well first half, but after the substitutions I felt that unsettled the side too much. Elam man of the match in my opinion.

Very impressed with yesterdays performance !! my man on the match was Shaun "Jim" Carey !!!! i thought he worked his socks off, and a very close 2nd was Clarke on the wing !!

 

The band were shocking....why on earth do you play "summer loving" at a football match !!

Yeah thought Clarkie's all round game was much, much better yesterday so well done to him.

 

Just what is it with these bands?? We need another explanation here!

 

I still want some kind of Samba beat going down. Now that would be cool.

When I turned up at the ground yesterday, I thought "Blimey, Uncle Urchin is right, all the disillusioned Hammers Fans are turning up at at Hx," in fact, it turned out to be Weymouth fans who have almost identical home kits to West Ham.

I don't know why we need a band over there anymore. On the Eastside we create an atmosphere and GH in his programme notes thanked us all for creating a good atmosphere. All 3 bands we've had this season have been a fcking joke, send em' packing Unc!

Definately the ref, he did'nt have a clue.
