Big Cliff for hire?

Opinions of many of the Aylesbury supporters at their game against Tooting last night was that there could be every chance that Cliff will be leaving after the Worthing game. Seems a strange one to me but apparently they seem to think that assistant Terry Back may be taking over after turning down an offer to take over at Cambridge City. Not sure how accurate all this is but may give a grain of hope to die hard "Cliff for Slough" fans!

Mr Evans, I never suggested you do need Cliff, just posting info in view of the many Cliff comments on this board. However, from the postings I have seen over the past few months on here, I would say that with all your money troubles the LAST thing you need is a big name manager who will almost certainly spend big noney you don't have on big players who don't appreciate you! Better to have someone with a real knowledge of the local non-league scene and let him get you some young keen (local if poss) talent so you can operate within your obvious finacial restraints!

Was Dave Kemp a big name manager as such? Thing was though, he was an ex-Slough player returning to the club, so he had local interests at heart.
How many 'big names' could we get that would bleed Slough Town like many of the fans do?
I've no doubt in my mind that things will change in the summer for the better, and we have to sit and hope for the time being as plans are in progress to make those changes.
As for Cliff, if he were to leave the Ducks, and it's a big IF but it's a rumour circulating round both sets of fans, I'd welcome it, but wouldn't understand why he'd leave.
I'd be more than happy to see Big Mac-Dermott come back and see if he could work some of his magic again and give us a side of local players to be proud of once more.

Cliff is going nowhere. If he was going to leave it would be for a better team.
Sorry to disappoint
And good luck next season hope to see you back in the Premier in a couple of years
