What was all that about. Awful performance, after Saturday we saw some weaknesses in the team, they certainly showed themselves today.

 

Two very soft goals in the first half no idea what the keeper was doing. Then we hit the bar and post and almost had a penalty until the ref saw the linesmans flag for offside.

 

However we did not deserve anything, we lack pace at the back (eight conceeded in three games!)and someone to play alongside Danny if Bradley is not fit.

 

If our first team are all fit we have a reasonable side but the rest of the squad do not appear to be up to it.

 

We cannot let this turn into a slump and must bounce back quickly.

I think today really highlighted that we suffer from a problem in the squad of having strength in depth. We desperately missed Heeroo and Allen and if you consider that Forbes still hasnt started a game, we were without 3 first choice players today.

 

Although the performance (or should I say non performance) was very poor, lets not press the panic button yet. It's a marathon not a sprint (good cliche!) but we already have some ground to make up on the leaders so things had better improve quickly.

Very Disappointed.

I expect the blue shirt to be worn with pride and passion, and it was, by the supporters.

 

Perhaps our team expected Leyton to turn up, give us three points, and fuk off.

 

From back to front, poor.
