Well, the quote the previous week regarding the Welling game was "we'd have won had we scored first".

The chap what ghost-writes the Manager's Notes in the matchday programme was otherwise engaged yesterday but had he been at t'Park, I would have asked him to clarify a sentence from SC's page:

 

"It's been suggested to me that perhaps we could do with a break."

 

I wondered whether for "break", did he mean "holiday"? A few days away to re-couperate after a strenuous pre-season programme and tough opening campaign in the Nationwide South?
