Was it pay day at STFC on Saturday? It was interesting to see all the players lined up behind the dug-out in the 2nd half, they could have only have been there for one reason to collect their `hard earned' inflated pay packets. Martin Deaner was also in the house which also adds up.

Did anbody notice Brownes halftime team talk? he did'nt move from the tunnel entrance. Was Eddie in charge of team affairs again? could explain the improved performance.

Lets hope he stays in the tunnel then!!<p>Actually I think we played better because we had a better balance to the team, and a better pitch to play on. I think we look vetter with velli as the attacking midfielder, as his close control and distribution is better than most. Also he keeps on running all the time which makes him able to get into the box. Hawthorn as the holding midfielder is also a plus, but i still think he is not fullt fit. Roach also played much better today, and actually did the Full ninety (apologies to nev for the quote). <p>BUT gilkes was again invisible, and Zeppelin has got to go my old ticker cant take his antics. Doesnt he know a goalie can handle the ball?
