Spot on bodyform. Am I right in thinking Ian was on loan last season at Eastbourne? If so hope the management have the sense to pick his brains about our forthcoming oppossition before he goes! Is there a method in CK's madness?

Got to say, that personally i do not rate Pulman, and frankly although Tuesday was a disaster, Pulman showed his immaturity by smiling and then acknowledging the chants for him to come on,behind CK's back.

That was not clever and was disrespectful to his team mates .

He should have kept his own counsel.

Maybe shipping him out on loan was a bit harsh, and his actions were probably out of youtrhful immaturity and frustration, as opposed to ant other agenda, but did need addressing whatever the circumstances.

maybe, just maybe, it will free up some cash to get some decent midfield players in.

Ck at times is very frustrating this time last season i wanted him out his inabilty to play anything else then 5-3-2 was pissing me off but he pulled through last season not many mangers could have saved us last season tbh but he did with the odd nice win along the way.

As it turns out it was a waste of effort due to circumstances beyond his control ie, council & certian peeps involved with the club,

we cant just tell ck to piss off the guy has been there through thick and thin the last few years.

CK, like any boss in a workplace, has to impose his authority. If Ian was smiling and waving to the fans in reponse to chants that questioned CK's judgment, then CK had to put his foot down.

Shame he hasn't put his foot down over the other disasters on the pitch then. I for one will be interested to see the team he selects tomorrow before I start criticising the management. Agree with Veaney about Ian, did not see it as Michael and think he was merely acknowledging the fans as he probably knew it would be his last match with Margate for a while.

quote[color:"red"] CK'S ATTITUDE TO YOUTH PLAYERS STINKS OF SH*T. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS. [color:"blue"]

Hold on a second Disgruntled, CK hasn't got a reserve side in which to nurture young players. During the pre-season CK gave try-outs to Pulman and Jjunju, whilst Che was trialling with Conference teams. Pulman didn't impress as much as Jjunju, Che came back & Ian became 4th choice striker.

Now if you're the Manager & you want your 4th choice striker to improve what do you do? Leave him to rot on the bench? Or send him out on trial? .... Answers on a postcard please.

Glad to hear it. Bosses who are liked by players aren't usually any good. Demand CK's head if you want, but we will not be able to replace him with a better manager - I guarantee you that.
