The big question of the weekend is....

.... will Gordon, Andy, Arnold, Alan, Simon (+daughter) and not forgetting Onslow of course, be following Mark Flag of Boretree down to Dover. Do they have more pressing engagements? Has their harvest been ruined by the wet weather? Is Onslow like the bloke out of 'Keeping up appearances'? I await with eager anticipation the answer to my questions on the Boretree forum!

Yep I remember him. He nearly caused a rumble with our fans at the infamous final game of the 2001/02 season when some of our supporters took exception at his comments.

The chant of "Bagpuss, where are you?" started up aimed at Onslow after our third goal against Braintree at Cressing Road last season.

Absolutely brilliant stuff!!!

This guy is priceless !! - He goes onto Dover forum to advise the below.....I like the bit about visiting "your" neighbours Margate ground ....Only Mark Flag could come out with that bit of useless info, aswell as what time they are leaving/arriving...Made my day that !!

Alright boys and girls, Braintree Town visit Dover Ath on Saturday, we have a mini bus of Qwag end boys coming down, leaving North Essex at 11am, hope to be in Dover by 1.30pm.

(Bank holiday traffic permitting)

Looking forward to my first visit to Dover, a couple of years ago, went to your neighbours Margates ground.

See you Sat.

Flag.
