I know it's my own fault for missing Tuesdays match, and i couldn't have made it to the ressies last night, but the first I knew about this match was the result. Where can we look to see reserve fixtures, and why isnt the info posted here? If we need every head through the gate we can then when it comes to home matches be it first team or reserves publicity is essential.

 

PS why was Hodges on the bench if he's injured?

Whincup's performance has been improving over the season so far, but how was Parkin's last night?

 

Did he give you confidence of potential as a regular first-team goalie (remembering that Whincup is on loan)...?

He commanded his defence very well and made a number of decent saves. He was caught out of position for their goal but other than that he was never really tested.

We handed out hundreds and I mean hundreds of fixture lists which contained the reserve team fixtures. These were available:

 

1) In Slough High Street on the 31st July. There was a note on the forum.

2) At the Maidenhead friendly on the same afternoon.

3) At the fun day on the 1st August.

 

I am sorry if you did not manage to get one. Lots of people did.

I'm not sure Hodges was on the bench, he was listed but I never saw him or the other first teamers that were supposed to be on the bench.

Thanks for the reply Martin. I was at maidenhead but didnt see anything being given out. I know a lot of people travel a good way for matches and wouldnt have been at the pre season fixtures, so maybe giving out the fixtures at a HOME game would help . I know the first team are listed in the programme, and on the website - but not the reserves.

I don't have any influence on the programme content otherwise it would be entirely devoted to mullets.

 

But I am sure that the programme will soon include reserve news and info.

 

There is a section on the website ready to be updated as soon as one of the guys gets a chance (no criticism there btw) and I would like to think that future fixtures will be announced by Roy. Hopefully we will break the three figure barrier at a ressies match this season.
