COMPLETE MESS

I have heard reports today from people who went to the match last night.I have heard comments on local radio today about more support needed.I have read similar pleas on this website.I have heard Dave is no longer with us.What I say now is only my opinion.If I upset or offend anyone TOUGH LUCK!!!!!!!!!!.I did not go last night therefore I cannot pass a personal opinion on the match but every one i have spoken to is of the opinion it was one of the worst performances ever .I think that speaks for itself.The reason I did not go is because of the time involved I am unable to get to any games at Ashford sats or eves there are a lot of us like that out here.Including my self and my family I know of at least 80 or 90 people who have all gone to all the matches over the years regardless of the results.Last nights would not make any difference we would still go.It is this type of support the club are missing,and I am afraid it is totally the fault of the club for going to Ashford.Apparently they wouldnt go to Herne Bay or even enquire because CK felt it would be lowering the standards mmmmmmmmmmmm!! Apperentley there was some barracking and hostile shouts last night. I would imagine these were borne out of sheer frustration by the fans who have managed to make the effort to go and witnessed what happened. I think the club must just accept it.As for Dave,I dont know for sure what has happened.But I met Dave on a number of occasions and all the time he epitomised what the old MARGATE FOOTBALL CLUB was all about.No need to repeat what every one has said and knows is true about Dave ,his wife and son.THEY WILL NEVER BE REPLACED.But I do know he had not been paid for yonks,Lets hope the club have treated him better in the parting of the ways than publicly they appear to have.Because this I believe somes up the appalling way things are being done at the club at the moment.TOTAL DISREGARD FOR EVERYONE.I just hope Vicky,Ken and Ray are still around and are being looked after because they are the last link with the old standards.In my opinion as has been suggested on another posting.If some one had to go to save money THEN CERTAINLY THE WRONG ONE HAS GONE!!! That I think is the only thing to save the club!!!!!
