Me an' 'Er Indoors, plus youngest daughter stopped off at a gorgeous little country pub in the middle of no-where on our way back from an antique auction house in Sussex on Tuesday.

 

A Free House. NO juke box. NO bleedin' "Who Wants to be A F'ckin Millionaire' machine. Oak Beams. Booootiful !!

 

Yours truly downed about five pints of Badger bitter (only 4%), with a bacon baggette.

 

Last round I bought, Pint of Stella, half of lager shandy and a pint of Badger.

 

"Just give us a fiver for cash - Can't be ars*d to ring it up !"

 

As Douglas MacArthur once famously said in the Phillipines,

 

"I Shall Return !"

 

Only problem I have with a good real-ale, is the 'Pipe-Cleaning' effect it can have later in the evening !
