Steve Daly 200 Up!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to pay tribute to a man who has encaptulated the spirit of Slough Town for five years and 200 games now. Steve Daly is one of the best defenders I have seen at this level of football, but not only his ability but his loyalty are there for all to see. Sticking with the club through the bad times, relegation to Ryman Division 1 when I believe he had a chance to join Hayes and definately had offers from other clubs, shows that Steve's heart really does lie in STFC.

 

Personally Steve I would like to thank you for your performances and hope you make many more yet.

Couldn't agree more! The man is a rock in the heart of the defence and what he lacks in pace now, he more than makes up for in experience and sheer refusal to give up. At the same time he is a first class professional, sportsman and a worthy role model for any young players who aspire to play football at any level!

 

Well done Steve Daly - I only hope the club can achieve the level that your contribution deserves!
