Best I can offer last night was the pint of half-Kroney/half-Smirnoff Ice I had during the first half.

One of the better grounds in this league - they let you drink on the terraces.

A couple of pornographic purchases made on the way home, as is fairly madatory when pissed.

Lights went out with 10 minutes to go - alas, no goal followed, so no chance to dig out that old '1-0 since the lights came on' chant from Canvey December 2001.

Claire is an odd mood. Buggered off just after half time in a strop - you okay this morning, baby!?

Grays put six past Margate. Surely there's not a worse team than us in the league this season??

Did you manage to say all that private stuff to your passenger last night - y'know, the stuff that meant you couldn't give me and Thornsy a lift home despite having two spare seats?

The stuff that, despite having two spare seats, despite it pissing down with rain, and despite all the sound advice I've given you over the last four months, was just so important, because you'd forgotten to say it in all your previous private chats, that you couldn't allow us some refuge??

We got home safe and sound, by the way. I was home and in bed just after half past midnight.

What time did you and herts blue get to bed?

Take that whichever way you want.

Yep.

Love spending the best part of £50 on watching my team lose 0-2 in the rain, buying 4-hour round journey rail tickets to a town 30 minutes up the road by car and pornographic magazines that I have to chuck out before I even get home.

Of course, despite supporting the Saints home and away, EFM are the worst fans at the club and we should all be banned.

No Zeal. Stop it. Stop assuming stuff. There were 2 spaces in my car yes. You hadn't asked me with respect, but assumed i'd give you a lift home. If you had come to the bar and had asked me politely then of course i would have given you 2 a lift home. But as it stands you didn't come to the bar after the game. We even waited around for you 2 incase you were doing some kind of event in the ground after the match. We stayed till 10.30, and you still hadn't come in, so we took it that you must have got the train home.

Of course we didn't wait around for a lift - you'd already told us, in no uncertain terms, at half time it wasn't convenient for you to take us. You also told us why it wasn't.

And I can't believe you waited around for us til 10.30 purely for us - you have both mine and Thornsy's mobile numbers if you really weren't sure if we were still hanging about.

We don't do 'events', by the way. And certainly didn't 'assume' anything. As for respect, it's a two-way thing.
