Well not exactly. If it had not been for Roy, Frank and other dedicated supporters who have worked on the pitch during the summer break, then tonight's game would never have been played.

 

All credit to Roy who has been the lead person in making sure that the pitch is as good as it can be. Had we attempted to play this game last year, then it would have been wellies all round. All right, the pitch is not perfect, but it is a damn sight better than it was.

 

Well done to Roy - a dedicated volunteer.

Well done to all your hard workers, we wanted to play badly but the water just kept rising. I can't recall a game at Capershotts being called off for waterlogged in August in the 22 years plus history and more I know.
