fair result, both teams had chances to win- we were denied a goal when the ball crossed the line but to be fair you derserved a draw. decent ref as well.

And good away support -possibly the best we have seen -certainly better than Billericays home lot

I agree with Tonbridge fan, certainly a game of two halves, we deserved our one nil lead at half time thanks to a wikidly swerving shot from the edge of the area by chopper, but then second half tonbridge came at us and they won the second half and our Josias and Haddow couldn`t get forward like they did in the first half and we kept giving the ball away like in the last 20 minutes against Wealdstone. They put us under immense pressure and they equalised after twice metcalfe gave away the ball on the edge of our area in a matter of seconds and their player hooked in after a deflection off Whincup. Then within minutes they took the lead. However the ever dependable Steve Daly popped up with a header from Murphy`s free kick. overall good first half poor second half. I felt maybe Spencer should have come on for Hakki rather then Seedal as the game passed him by yet again.

Sat too deep and invited pressure onto a 1-0 lead as we did on Saturday. Where we got lucky perhaps and got away with it on Saturday we didn't tonight. I appreciate there will be times when a team has a spell on top in the match, but we simply appeared to be inviting them onto us and not even trying to hit them on the counter attack. We've not got the pace in the side for that.

We're ok when we're level or chasing the game as we've seen we can play neat passing, incisive football, but it appears as soon as we're one up, all that goes out the window. It's frustrating.

It is, but full marks to Tonbridge - they came flying out of the traps in the second half and battered our defence relentlessly for about twenty minutes. When we did get the ball though, it was rushed and wasted almost every time. We're a good footballing side, and they need to play it on the deck more, even though it's easier just to lump it to Hodgey.

As much as it pains me I completely agree with Gary! Tonbridge applied themselves better after the break but we sat far too deep and even when the ball was cleared we sat back and invited them to come straight back at us. Great finish from Harris and also their second goal looked well taken.

Will have to take the Tonbridge word that their "goal" was over the line but by the same token a challenge on Haddow in the last minute was a cast iron penalty for us. A good competitive game with good support from both teams. Excellent vocals from the Rebels obviously!

At the end several Tonbridge fans shook hands and said fair result. That's what football should be about.

Strange game - at half-time I would have been disappointed with a draw but by the end was glad for the point. Hard to say if we got worse or they got better but the football we played in the first half was some of the best I have seen from us in a while - it was an excellent playing surface and we really used it. All that was lacking was the final killer pass - for all the possession we didn't create that many chances. Still, a nice ground, friendly fans and a point - not a bad evening's entertainment.

On a separate note, heard on the radio coming back that Yeovil scored an inadvertent goal from a drop ball and it was given by the referee. Shades of Matt Miller at Dover. Very sportingly Yeovil allowed Plymouth to equalise from the kick off.

I only saw the second half thanks to our crap privatised rail service (over four hours of travel for 45 minutes of footie, hmmm) - but what a second half. Great header by Daly to equalise, loads of atmosphere from both sets of fans, and much better entertainment than the last two games which is why i suppose i subject myself to the torture that is our rail service.

Agree with both Gary and Mr. Johnson's boots.

At half time would have been disappointed with the draw after we appeared to have largely controlled the first half.

The second half they battered us for 30 minutes. The reason for this:

1) they upped their game and decided to attack - 1st half when Tonbridge did not have the ball they had all XI behind it - second half they poured forward

2) We sat too deep and could not retain possession. Our defensive philosophy appears to be stand in a line twelve yards out and if you get the ball hack it clear. This worked to an extent against Wealdstone and Harrow but clearly not last night.

It was incredibly frustrating to watch. I think my frustration was fairly obvious.

The goals were coming and it really was only a matter of time.

Having said all that great credit to the lads for coming back the way they did. As soon as we went behind we started playing "our" game again instead of being dictated to by the opposition. And what a way to cap appearance 200 - well done skipper.

I also thought we should have had a pen for the challenge on Haddow. But I think it was only me and Ian who appealed. I just thought the Tonbridge defender went through Al.

In the end I think the draw was a fair result. But how do we look at the game a point won or two points lost?
