I would just like to say Good Luck to Dave Canham in whatever he chooses to do next. Brilliant servant to the club and will be sorely missed in his role at MFC.

There will be no Official announcement as Niki Canham used to maintain the web site.

Notice that Dave's not listed amongst the club officials in last nights programme, is he usually ? I assume so which means that he was gone before last Saturday - the programme was put together before then.

 

So why wasn't there a story / goodbye & thank you in the Thanet Times yesterday ? Very shoddy, as ever with this club.

 

It doesn't bode well losing the only person who seemed to have any sort of clue about commercial stuff - he must have been our longest serving commercial manager ever, we must have got through about 20 in the last 10 years !

 

Also doesn't bode well for the website which is poor anyway - without Nikki Canham to update it who's going to do it ? The only club employee left as far as I can work out is the woman who runs the office.

A great shame top bloke and thoroughly decent family. Wife Debbie did huge amount of work along with Niki who was great on the tannoy. Shall write a t/u letter. Guess the club could not aford him but a real blow on top of our worst defeat for years and years.

Sorry, but have not bought a programme since those dire Steve P things, but the club has been pretty much dismantled these last few years and the list of officials must be small.

 

Who is the chap who drives a Merc, fairly slight build with a white beard? He is always in the directors box. He left the ground on Tuesday even quicker than most fans.

He is the club Doctor. Dr Ryder I think his name is.
