i mean everytime i go onto a clubs forum we have just played to join in some banter, a bloody gravesend fan has got in there.. tamworth have had the benefit of a fleetsters opinion (funnily enough it wasnt complimentary) i dread to think what they put on the carlisle forum but its just too big to trawl through!! ..

..

so, i thought i'd pre empt things and head off to exeters forum.. nice little thread on the go titled 'what do we know about canvey' .. lovely i thought here we go.. but lo and behold halfway through it another bloody gravesend fan is on there with his three pence worth.. fk me they are getting worse than billericay!..

who have we got last game of the season? maybe that will currently be fleet free still!

I've just been on the same forum and noted a post that mentions we're top of the disciplinary Table - Wouldn't we be hit with a four-figure fine if kept it like that till the end of the season?

 

***EDIT*** - Just seen it on Confguide we're 3rd behind Gravesend and Woking respectively.

Yeh i had a look at Exeters forum last night and saw the helpful Gravesend fan on there, they really seem to have some sort of fixation with Canvey. I don`t see Gravesend as our local rivals it`s Dagenham and always will be while we`re in the same division, maybe because they have no local rivals they feel left out.

i could understand it if we constantly slated thier ground,manager,fans,neighbourhood or hoped they got relegated or belittled any past achievements or future plans..

I think we all know the reason Hornchurch get stick, Uncle Urchin. He enjoys and is good at getting people going and a lot of people can`t take it so they just slag your club down.

Not all Gravesend fans have this fixation. I disliked Canvey in our promotion season, as you would your rivals, and had a particular thing against Stimson and Miller... but that's all water under the bridge. I'm quite glad for a few local derbies and no-one can deny you've deserved your place in the Conference after three runners-up spots.

We're all for a bit of banter, but a lot of Gravesend fans groan when they hear the 'If you all hate Canvey clap your hands' chants. I usually only hate you for 180 minutes a year, or when Big Jeff is spouting off... <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Well we have a particular thing now against Stimson and Miller a Judas and a cry baby.
Cant wait to see the reception Miller gets when we play Aldershot.

I couldn`t care less about Stimson and i would have Miller back as a player anytime.

It was Stimson's influence that turned Miller's mind the Pre-Season before we 'released' him. Buzz seemed almost certain to join him before the end of the season before, but saw the error of his ways and returned.

 

I'd also like to see Miller back as a player at Canvey, Aldershot seems to have matured him as a player and he's found his ability he had with us at first.

 

It's very highly unlikely we'll see him put on a Canvey shirt again though while Jeff's in charge of the Club.

we had em both back for that 2 nil grays game.. what fun stimmo probably enjoyed it.. miller went missing.. seems miller is back to his best at the shots , his peak with us was the first 3/4's of the season after the trophy..

Who would have thought Jeff would have taken Buzz back and for that matter Minton who turned us down to join Grays originally. If Miller was available and there was a place in the team i`m sure Jeff would have him back no matter what went on in the past.
