Plenty left to play for this season

A top four/five finish would set us in great stead for the start of the next season and must be a priority (although at the moment I can't see it) so a good end to the season would be a great boost. That's where Stortford and Ford finished last season and look how well they are doing now.
Also wins against some of the better teams in this division - Ford, Stortford, Bognor would give us good confidence. We know we can beat the crap sides and the mid table sides easily (bar Whyteleafe!), but as yet we have not really beaten a top six side bar Harlow & Ford (Once).
The remaining games also gives the management a chance to try some new things - players in different positions.
The thing that any and every fan wants though - and this would be better than promotion is good news off the field - for the club to get their act together and get something moving about the ground - something some way MUST happen soon.
Also there is the sponsored walk to Staines to look forward to although Ali G has not responded to my email yet about meeting us at Stompond Lane :-)
Plus there is always player of the year - Probably between three IMHO Barras, Stotty and Veli. A massive incentive for the players (hmmmmm! grin.gif" border="0 )
Look - I know I'm trying to be positive and no doubt someone will knock it, but a good end to the season and problems off the pitch sorted could be an excellent platform for promotion next season, which I think we can get.

Optimism will not get us in a confident mood for next season.. a good management structure where monies are paid accordingly will.
Hasn't Browne been players out of position all season? Haynes upfront or on the left wing.. Winston on the right wing,.. Kemp.. on the pitch.
I maybe knocking them but the club have hardly ingratiated themselves to the fans this season. Like Nigel said at Maidenhead, there's only so much support we can give.
