I was hoping that you would delete his real number, as somewhat belated retribution for stealing my switch card and costing me a fortune in bank charges.

Disgraceful I know, Gertcha.

 

Yes, this happened in Chester about three or so years ago.

 

I was completely [****&#33;&#33;****]ered on Aftershock, so after my good friends put me to bed, as I would to them, the same good friends stole my Switch card and bought themselves a curry with it.

 

The transaction put me overdrawn in my account, and as it was the beginning of the month, I had a couple direct debits due to come out of my account the following Monday, which were refused by the bank, costing me £27.50 each, on top of a further £27.50 for being overdrawn thanks to their curry.

 

I had no money to get into the Chester/St Albans game, nor to buy any drinks on the Saturday, and had to borrow £20 off Mr Viz.

 

Fortunately for my very good friends, an even better friend tipped me off about the theft before I had the chance to report money missing from my account to the bank and the police.

Oh, and despite being refunded for Mr Thorns and Mr Ratcliffe's two-thirds of the curry, I am still waiting for £15-odd from some twat called Tall Tim, who I don't know, yet still had the audacity to take money from my account.

 

And obviously I had to fork out £82.50 in the charges it cost me.

 

This incident won't ever be forgotten.

That is outrageous. With friends like those etc.......

 

Surely the refund for the curry should also cover the bank charges, meaning you are still owed £27.50 from the three 'thieves'. Add to that the interest you have missed out on and a charge for your inconvenience and I reckon they owe you a round £50 each.

 

All I can say, is at least Mr Viz was there to help you out.

 

This must leave a very bitter taste in your mouth Mr Z.

I'm just glad I have a very good friend in the person who took me to one side the next morning and told me what had gone on during my drink-fuelled absence.

Anyway the thief was a certain school teacher, you spend £50 on breaking a wing mirror and I paid you back Tall Tims cash as well as several more items that I've never had back from you (yes I'm also aware that I have your OF&H vid)
