Couldn't get to the match until late yesterday, and we were pretty dire again--several players not interested, no tactics--we didn't learn that if you pass the ball on the ground in a quagmire, it wouldn't go anywhere. No interest from the bench. Last 20 minutes were great though--nearly got a draw in the end, but nearly isn't good enough.<p>At the moment we are playing badly, without spirit or commitment (last 20 minutes apart). I'm looking forward to seeing Browne's excuses in saturday's programme. He's blamed everyone at some time--remember last year when he blamed the opposition for playing well against us because we were a big team? reckoned that all these small teams raised their game because beating a big team like us was something special? well he can't use that one now!!!<p> He must be due another classic excuse for saturday and I'm looking forward to it. Could he even blame Deaner for not paying the players? Himself for not being able to get 11 players willing to try? Nigel for breathing? The Supporters for singing "We're going to win F*** All"? Or bad luck because we didn't win even though we didn'try

for 70 minutes. The pitch (No he tried that one against Thame and Yeading.) What will it be?

 

I know which one my money's on, even though the team started to play after it was sung.
