Lost 2-1

Chelsea look very good and we were hanging on at times but a battling performance kept us in it and the winner only came in the 85th minute.

Thanks to the few Towners who gave us some support and Peter Hammett who questioned the ref and lino through the entire game (does he do this at the tv as well?).

Beth Lovell scored our goal.

Despite losing both of our games so far this season we have risen this week from 10th to 9th in the table out of 12.

8 more defeats and we will be top of the league!!

The F.A. website has still not got todays results listed,to do the press reports I need to know the league positions to include it as is wanted by the papers,I know they have the results as I phoned ours in 5 minutes after the game,just shows what the ladies game is up against and if it wasnt for a couple of specialist websites it would be impossible.

Our results appear sunday afternoon on ITV text page 421.

how about thanks to all those folks who worked all monrning to get the game on? ( and got bo££ix for being home late for lunch!!)

 

And some people say we don't want the ladies @ ETFC; I think they have been proved wrong.

 

Folks were there from 9:30 to make sure the grass was cut, changing rooms cleaned, pitch marked out, rubbish picked up; and eveyone of those folks was from the "mens" section.

 

it obviously worked as the compliments from Chelsea about the ground and pitch being 100% better were most welcome
