ETFC play on Sundays

Recommended Posts

I know it's part of the pitfalls of ground sharing but we somehow managed to avoid this in the main last year and I'm not that keen to attend games on Sundays, particularly when it clashes with footie on the tv. I'm sure others will feel the same and attendances are bound to be reduced - the St Ives game, for instance, now clashes with Spurs on tv.

I'm also not happy about the change from Wednesdays to Tuesdays for most midweek games this sason - I play football on Tuesdays so will not often be able to make these.

Football on Saturdays and Wednesdays is the message from me!

Why can't we play 2 games on a Saturday
one game kick off 13:00 and one @ 16:00 and chage £7:00?

Because there are FA 'rules' concerning when FA matches may be played for teams that groundshare.

Why not move the Sawbo game to Monday 6th September to avoid clashing with the England World Cup Qualifier? There were 324 at Barkingside last Monday so it must be worth considering.

Also the Vase game on Sunday 12th September could be brought forward to a 1pm or 2pm kick off to avoid clashing with the televised Spurs game.

If people want to see a Spurs game then watch that,it should have NO affect on a Town game only a few Towners have an interest in them not everyone.

As someone once said `It`s make your mind up time`

Of course the gate will be lower if we play at the same time as a televised premiership match.

That's precisely the reason why no live games are allowed to be shown at 3.00 on a saturday.

Why deprive the club of much needed cash for the sake of two hours.?

Maybe it suits some people to watch a morning game, and then watch the Town at 3.00 pm.I feel more of us would prefure to watch the Town and then see the live game on TV.

Where are the ladies playing that day.?????

We are talking about ETFC not ETFC unless something else is on tv,life is all about making choices. While watching ETFC I couldnt care less about the mighty Gooners, but afterwards is a different matter.
