Is the match on?

The weather for tomorrow is supposed to be Sunny and Warm, according to the dodgy BBC Weather Website.

Thought that I would pass on some very useful advice I was given earlier in the week........

"That is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string at this stage. I'm pretty confident that it'll be fine come kick off but obviously if there is a huge downpour just before kick-off then the match could be in doubt. At this stage, until notice is given that the match is off, treat the game as if it is on, but ring the ground before you head off"

AND

"I gave simple advice that I find myself putting on here everytime a match may come into question. Treat a game as on until you hear otherwise, and ring the ground before setting off to be sure. It isn't brain surgery, it is common sense which is something that I can't claim to have an abundance of, but in this case I do.

I regularly consider myself lucky to not live in Northern Scotland"

Anything to oblige.........

Job for David or Radders

To provide an hourly report on the forum about pitch, whether, and transport conditions from Stag Meadow for the three days up to each match, and the same service for when we play away from that ground.

Slough Town FC leading the way in supporter support.

It isn't just women though. I'm missing two matches in the next few weeks because a mate of mine decided to have both his stag weekend and the wedding itself during the football season. Honestly, some people have no respect for other people

There's only one thing for it BFR, ring around and tell all the Stag party attendees and the wedding guests the wedding is off. In the confusion, they will have to cancel. By the time they get it rearranged, the footie season will be over - problem solved. (And you probably won't get an invite to the replay!)

hi there staines rebel and all dave here

i had a few problems early on but still was lyoal enoughth to get to the the game and pick up the pieces and started well by forgetting where the olotment was located outside club but while a younger and proberbly fitter person and steward managed to get the ball and i raced it back to paul l.

i also saw most of the game apart from springing a late sprize and turning up later than planned due to the fact that first buses run a lousey service on a saturday from burnham to slough and also every 30 minutes at the same time difernt buses 5)1) 5) same as weekdays apart from later start about 800 and 1700ish on a saturday and only one 1 bus through the trading estate every 30 minutes on saturdays and somehow every 10 minutes weekdays and please note no trains calling burnham throughout fom yesterday until the 1st september, however i understand from first great western link custermers can get a train from maidenhead to burnham but rail replaicement bus service to slough snd back to maidenhead to conect with the one way service from maidenhwad ocording to my wunderful amendment book combined with my problems at home was frustrating

weather for next few days could well be on the dodgey side with heavey and persistent rain as of around 2100 sunday tonight rorcusted so depending on how heavy rain is and lasts will depend on wether the game will be on or not. i would strongly check websites and local raidios in cars and on the coach and at the ground at tonbridge by phone if still wet on tuesday.

take care all and hope i can make the coach at about 1630 for 1700 departure to tonbridge angels and the match does go ahead.

god bless all dave programes <img src="/images/graemlins/achso.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
