Why do we as people deny things? I think it is a stupid thing to do. My opinion really, just don't know why some deny things!!!!!!!

You know some people seem to "lose a day/weekend"....usually after a heavy sesh etc...?

 

Well I seem to have lived an extra day. I have carried out the tasks which make up my everday existence by one extra day!!

How the feck did this happen?

 

I've just checked the dog food tins and it looks like I have fed them 5 tins since Monday [when I bought them] instead of 4!

I just want a simple example or reasoning why people deny things. is it to protect their views on life? Is it to get themselves out of difficult situations, or is it because the truth is too hard to handle?
