as a young lad i followed the leeds, but lost int when i started going to watch back in those days, canvey and southend (my mate was a big southend fan and i had just moved to the sunny isle).. i also took my young son to the hamsters as they were his team but he soon lost intrest.. the move from canvey to westcliff has put me walking distance from roots hall and as my son got back into footy i told him he had to support southend.. all his mates would and in years to come he could walk to the ground, get pissed and then battered by aldershot or something .. and if they ever did eventually win anything like a home game or something he would truly appreciate it..

as for tom night fk west ham ill be rooting for the shrimpers ( i just hope they score one goal that will do even if they get done 6-1)
