The Last Two Games

too bloody right.. having a moan about your team is part n parcel of the game .. walking out of the ground n to pub muttering 'what was that shower of sh.t all about' is an integral part of football..

as is beating a bigger team in a cup.. as is getting knocked out of all the cups before the end of september.. as is needing 35 points from 12 games to make the play offs and still thinking you have a shout.. as is being at home to croydon in the p.ssing rain being outsung by the 3 fans they bought as your team goes one down whilst having a total mare and you know you need the points to go top.. as in finishing second three years on the spin..

.

.

. i thinks its called football and it is 95 per cent disapointment

Love the bit about croydon in the pissing rain

Went their to watch Canvey on a tuesday evening and it was chucking it down, floodlights at half power and when we arrived 10 minutes or so before kick off the ref had just then called the game off

The centre of the pitch carried enough water to see off a kayak demonstration and the water had been their for several hours

The ref went into hiding before he got one

Fond memories Canv
