A few positive things from last night

Raver, you misunderstand my point, you've earnt the right to moan at West Ham now and demand better success than we have, I just don't think Urchin's fans should be so criticall after a couple of games.

Another thing I mean about West Ham and you not being there now is that although we have been badly let down, we must except where we are if you go over there, I'm sick of people going over UP and booing and moaning the very 1st minute the game starts and you sound like just of the sort of bloke who does that.

Nige, I'm not the sort of guy to boo the team from the first minute I can assure you of that.

At West Ham I must admit that I'm not the sort of fan who 'gets behind the team, no matter what'. I will shout at players and boo at the end of a pathetic, effortless display. Why do I do this? Because I care. Its a way of letting them know that the sort of dross they dish up so often isn't acceptable.

Remember when we lost to Leeds 5-1 at home during the 98/99 season? I stayed and cheared them off then because they put in a lot of effort and had 3 men sent off. Effort is all I ask. Thats where the differences lie.

Blimey Nige, you getting your name forward for "Urchin Supporter of the Year" for your empassioned speach?!!? Raver's entitled to his opinion as much as the next man, you pay money to see the team play, you're entitled to celebrate their sucesses and vent your disapproval at their poor, lacklust performances, as last night could quite rightly be classed. No one in their right mind would be calling for GH's head after two games and I don't think anyone has. No one can be happy with last nights performance, some people have taken more from it than other's, but that's life. A win on Saturday will put this all to bed, you'll see!

Lord, what do you mean, "You'll see", I know that, that's my whole point!

I'm not angling for "Supporter of the Year", I'm a seasoned follower of football and "Reactionary Views" after one defeat are all too common these days amongst fans.

Honestly, beggars belief, Hornchurch are just starting to make a name for themselves in non league football and they're heading in the right direction, we can all see that, let's take a "Reality Check" here and give Mr Hill some time.
