Cheers, Nick. Still not sure about that winning goal but prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt as it was only a friendly!

Seriously, I think you guys are fairly well equipped to make the step into senior Saturday football. Not sure you are quite ready to beat our full strength first team yet but the only way to learn is to play against a better level every week and improve. All you would need is a rope around your pitch and I'm sure that the Essex Intermediate League would be very interested in taking you.

Good luck for the season ahead. Oh, and change that bloody kit. What a bunch of poseurs!

1966 and all that! you cannot be as unlucky again as you were on Tuesday and if things do even themselves up you should be ok <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

Saturday fotball is something i want to get involved in and quite possibly could be with Risden as i think we would do ok. Problem is 2 other teams use our ground on a Saturday and im not sure how the land lies.

 

As for our kit! that is our 4th choice....lol and with a new one ordered will be relegated even further....although is does seem quite lucky. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

Will be watching your results with interest and will even pop down to see you play at some point soon...
